Chapter 1 - Getting Started

Connecting to midjourney.com.
It all begins at www.midjourney.com. When you connect you will be at the home page shown at right.
Click the “Sign-Up” button.
Signing Up.
You are given two options: Continue with Google or Discord. The original MidJourney only worked with Discord and it is a cranky hard to use interface. Lucky for you, joining today, you can simply use your Google account login and work 100% through the easier web interface. Remember - when you login with Google you are going to use your GOOGLE password.
Creating an Account.
There is no longer a limited “free” option. You have to have a paid account to create images or videos. The lowest paid tier is $10/month for month-to-month, or $8/month ($96) for the yearly plan.
